This Month’s Initiative
This June, our initiative focuses on fostering meaningful connections between generations to help combat loneliness among older adults. Through engaging activities and shared experiences, we aim to strengthen community bonds, promote understanding, and create lasting relationships. By bringing people together, we hope to inspire a greater sense of belonging, purpose, and community for seniors
The Social Hour is a fun, welcoming gathering designed to bring the residents and community members together through conversation, games, music, and shared activities.
Happening This Month:
We're looking for volunteers to help with setup, check-in, activity facilitation, serving refreshments, and cleanup throughout the event. Most importantly, volunteers will spend time engaging with seniors and helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone attending.
